- 2 cups white vinegar
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled

- 1 teaspoon dill seeds
Instructions
- Sterilize jars and lids in boiling water.
- Combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.
- Pack green beans vertically into jars.
- Add garlic, red pepper flakes, and dill seeds to each jar.
- Pour hot brine over beans, leaving 1/2 inch headspace.
- Remove air bubbles and seal jars.
- Process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
Notes

- Let beans sit for at least 2 weeks before eating for full flavor.
